Photographs 7/16/09

I went to Florida a few weeks ago and while I was there I bought a Canon Rebel K2 for $80 at a pawn shop. These are some picture I took with it in Florida and around my house. They aren't very good but I am just starting I suppose.

I don't know if it's because I don't really know how to use photoshop very well, but I prefer not to edit photos, even though these were on 35mm film, I guess I could have does stuff to the digital copies I have of them but I'm not. I just like the raw, natural look of pictures without editing.

The last two are probably my favorite.

Animal Prom Series

I started this series my senior year of high school, but these paintings were done during the last part of 08-09. I was unaware that animal heads on a human body form was overused, but I still like them.

I'm still working on this series, but I broke my arm a couple of days ago, so it might be a little while before I finish a new one, but be on the look out for one after the next 5 or 6 weeks.
