I don't use this that much anymore. I may update it eventually, but for more up to date posts, check out my tumblr, http://artistsareboring.tumblr.com/
I like tumblr's interface more.
Or, if you'd like to look at my more professional work, check out my actual website I made, www.darrenjohnsondesign.com
That website, right now, is all of my school projects that I have done in the Visual Communications program at Herron. I plan on updating it and making it just my professional website with all my design work, so it will be more like an online portfolio.

So, I've been really busy with visual communications lately. I'll start posting more since we are getting in to more interesting projects now.
This project was for my VC class. We took pictures, did tracings of the different elements, design principles, textures, contrast, and color, made a list of words describing the three pictures, then we picked four words for the three different pictures. We then made abstract compositions getting the word across in the final image. The final part of the project was to make a book of the process. I have been interested in making my own book lately so I decided to make my own hardcover for it. Below are pictures of the book.

These are from my drawing 2 class I took this summer.
A model posed, then we drew the skeleton inside of his form.
These are ink drawings of a model.
This is a self portrait where we had to include areas of bone and skin.
This is another self portrait I did.
This is my final drawing project. We had to have 5 different sections with still life props.
